Eléonor Silva is a Franco-Portuguese filmmaker.

Objeto Encontrado is her first movie, which she directed upon her return from a year-long mission to the French Embassy in Brazil. Once settled back in Portugal, in 2021, she directed her second movie, E L E O N O R_, a short essay on immigration through the lens of an uncommon name.

Graduated in Communications from the University of la Sorbonne, she also followed a directing class at the MET Film School in Berlin. Since then, she has worked as a Global Health Advocate and is currently the Executive Director at UNITE Parliamentarians Network for Global Health.

She is now working on her next project, a short fiction called A Cidade dos pés juntos, a comedy taking place in the interior of Portugal.
